Well, we all know that there’s plenty of holes in this story. However, the question I want to ask is slightly different; it is this;
Couldn’t you find any cute little black kids in Dafur?
Remember Dafur? Maybe that Myspace promotional thing brought it back to your attention. Or maybe you just found it Googling George Clooney. Anyway, yeah, that thing in Africa, that huge Genocide, that’s going on now, right now right as you read this post kind of right now. Yeah that one.
You could be forgiven for forgetting I suppose. After all, it’s not like the media has given it any attention. So that’s why I’m just doing a quick word up; Remember Dafur. Learn what’s going on. And be the media; we are bloggers – it’s no longer just our right to fill the gaps in the media – it’s our responsibility.
